On Friday, April 26th students from Audie Murphy Middle School stopped by the San Juan Sanitation Department to create a native plant garden that would benefit our local area. The Keep San Juan Beautiful Board was awarded $1,000 worth of materials that included mulch, soil, and an oak tree through the Garden-Ville Grant. Thank you to the students for coming out and creating a beautiful new garden in our city that will be an asset to our native wildlife. This wouldn’t have been possible without the hard work of our Keep San Juan Beautiful board members who are always looking for new ways to improve our city. We would also like to thank the San Juan Sanitation Department for purchasing native plants, assisting, and welcoming Audie Murphy Middle School to our great city.
