The San Juan Parks & Recreation Baseball and Softball season have officially started! On Saturday, April 6th the Baseball and Softball Opening Ceremonies were held at the San Juan Sports Complex. This year we have 48 teams and over 600 players competing. Mayor Mario Garza, Mayor Pro-Tem Pete Garcia, Commissioner Jesus “Jesse” Ramirez, Commissioner Ernesto “Neto” Guajardo, Commissioner Leonardo “Lenny” Sanchez, and the San Juan Parks & Recreation Advisory Board Members were in attendance to welcome and wish all the players and coaches a great season. Thank you to the PSJA Lady Bears Softball team and the PSJA Bears Baseball team for coming out and welcoming all our athletes. We would also like to thank PSJA ISD and the San Juan Parks & Recreation Department for all their hard work and keeping our fields in pristine condition for opening day. We hope everyone has a safe and amazing baseball/softball season!
