Earth Day 2017

/, LatestNews/Earth Day 2017

Over 200 PSJA student volunteers and staff helped make the 2017 City of San Juan Earth Day Celebration a big success. Students for various high schools: created arts and crafts out of recycled tires and bottle caps; planted and identified a wide variety of native plants and trees; picked up over 13,675 pounds of litter and brush within  7.5 acres plot of wetlands; hung bird houses and feeders along the property , and identified wildlife throughout the San Juan Wetlands. Thank you for all your help and we look forward to seeing you next year!
