San Juan Crime Stoppers Launches New Website to
Receive Anonymous Web Tips and Text Tips

The San Juan Police Department has introduced a new method of receiving anonymous tips through its newly developed secured Crime Stoppers website.
www.sanjuancrimestoppers.com

The website will allow citizens to send their anonymous tips through the internet known as WEB TIPS and TEXT TIPS.

These new features will allow citizens to send their TIPS and be able to follow up on them while accessing the internet. The website will also accept TIPS in a Spanish format.

The Crime Stoppers program allows citizens to participate in providing anonymous TIPS to the police department on all types of crimes without fear of retribution and pays up to $1,000.00 dollars for information leading to the arrest or conviction of any wanted subject.

The San Juan Crime Stoppers program was implemented last year in 2009 for the purpose of preventing and solving crimes that affect the safety of the community.

Since its inception the Crime Stoppers program has received significant tips that lead to the arrest of individuals involved in murders, home invasions, drug trafficking, human trafficking, arms trafficking, burglaries and other violent crimes.

The website will be maintained through seized drug monies at no cost to the citizens. The San Juan Crime Stoppers program will also accept any donations through the website.
